With all notices having been properly posted, Frank Bartzen, Chairman called the May meeting to order at the Lamartine Municipal Building Meeting Room at 7:30 Pm. Supervisors Mike Suprenand and Bruce Rhode, Treasurer Greg Michels and Clerk Jill Randall were also in attendance at this meeting.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Frank called for any corrections or additions in the April Board Meeting minutes.
¬Mike seconded by Bruce made a motion to approve the April Board meeting minutes as presented. Motion carried 3-0.

Frank asked Greg to read the April Treasurer’s report. The ending balance as of 4-30-11 is $562,178.87. Greg noted that he needs to speak with the bank regarding the bank interest, he will make any necessary corrections at the next board meeting. ¬¬¬Bruce moved to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. Mike seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

Citizen Concerns:
NONE

REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS:
A. Road Report—Frank reported that crack filling is done with the exception of some crack filling to be done on a couple of bridges. Rich has been working at repairing some low spots on the town roads. The ditch work done last year by St Stephens Church appears to be handling the storm water runoff as designed.
B. Zoning Ordinance Update / Public Hearing & Special Town Board Meeting Update—April 19, 2011—The public hearing went well with the town attorney in attendance. The Zoning Ordinance amendments and inclusion of the Solar Energy Ordinance into the Zoning Ordinance; the Adult Oriented Establishment Ordinance and the Subdivision and Land Division Ordinance amendments were recommended for adoption by the Plan Commission and then were adopted by the Town Board at the Special Town Board meeting following the public hearing. May 13, 2011 the notices detailing these board actions will be published in the newspaper. All above ordinances will than be in effect.
C. Update on the Veterans Memorial / Cemetery Committee Meeting held Apr. 25, 2011—Greg reported that the committee received one new name to be added to the memorial. New flags have been put up at the memorial site. The school that showed some interest in helping clean up the cemeteries has not been reached yet. Prices are being researched for putting in a berm at the memorial site. Trees need to be removed at the Hwy 23 (Anderson) cemetery. Jacobs Tree Service will stand by the price he gave the committee last year. Community Day will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011, with a parade and food being sold at the Town Hall. Please watch for upcoming details.
D. Clean Sweep—May 14, 2011—County wide—Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Building 9:30 am-12:30 pm—Informational Brochures were available at the meeting.
E. Board of Review—May 10, 2011—5:00 Pm to 7:00 Pm—you must get an “Objection to Assessment” form from the Town Clerk, if you wish to come to the Board of Review.

F. Date for Next Newsletter—The next newsletter will come out around the end of June. Articles need to be to the newsletter editor, Patti Rhode or Clerk, Jill Randall by June 15, 2011.
G. Board of Appeals terms expire in June 2011 for J. Peter Braun, Roger Searl & Harold (Bud) Guenther—Mike made a motion that J. Peter Braun, Roger Searl and Bud Guenther be appointed for another two year term (June 2011 – June 2013). Bruce seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

OLD BUSINESS:
A. Discussion / decision on Final Plat Fee—Fee approved by Board at the April Town Board meeting is inconsistent with the fees stated in the Town Subdivision and Land Division Ordinance—THIS ITEM WAS TABLED PENDING INFORMATION FROM THE TOWN ATTORNEY.



NEW BUSINESS:
A. Discussion / decision Wages paid to Plan Commission & Board of Appeals members—Bruce made a motion that the wages for the Plan Commission and Board of Appeals members be raised to $25.00 per meeting and the Chairman’s be raised to $40.00 per meeting. Mike seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. Mike made a motion that the raise increase be effective retroactive to January 1, 2011. Bruce seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. The Board instructed the Clerk to send a letter to the PC and BOA members asking them which meeting date would work best for their schedules; the 1st Monday or the 4th Monday of the month.
B. Discussion / decision on conducting a 2011 dog count—Bruce moved that the Board direct Harold to conduct a dog count as usual for 2011. Mike seconded the motion. Motion Carried 3-0.

Approving the monthly vouchers and checks—Bruce moved to approve the vouchers as presented for payment. Mike seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0.

With no further business to discuss, Bruce seconded by Mike made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried 3-0 and the meeting adjourned at 8:45 Pm.
