May 13, 2011 the notices detailing these board actions will be published in the newspaper. All above ordinances will than be in effect.
C. Update on the Veterans Memorial / Cemetery Committee Meeting held Apr. 25, 2011—Greg reported that the committee received one new name to be added to the memorial. New flags have been put up at the memorial site. The school that showed some interest in helping clean up the cemeteries has not been reached yet. Prices are being researched for putting in a berm at the memorial site. Trees need to be removed at the Hwy 23 (Anderson) cemetery. Jacobs Tree Service will stand by the price he gave the committee last year. Community Day will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011, with a parade and food being sold at the Town Hall.
