Legal Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on May 28, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town of
Lamartine Town Hall, N5269 Schaefer Drive, Oakfield, Wisconsin, the Town Board will
be conducting a hearing on the proposed discontinuance of Orvis Drive in response to a
petition filed pursuant to Wis. Stat. §82.10(1). The road proposed to be discontinued is
more particularly described as follows:
A 66 foot wide road right-of-way located in the Southwest ¼ of the
Southeast ¼ of Section 18, T.15N.-R.16E, Town of Lamartine, Fond du
Lac County, Wisconsin, lying 33 feet on each side of the following
described centerline: Commencing at the South ¼ corner of said Section
18; thence North 00º-27’-13” West along the West line of the Southeast ¼
of said Section 18, 435.66 feet; thence South 89º-45’-49” East, 33.00 feet to
the East right-of-way line of County Trunk Highway “C” and to the point
of beginning of the centerline of Orvis Drive to be discontinued; thence
continuing South 89º-45’-49” East along said centerline, 917.40 feet to the
end of said centerline.
A scale map of the land that would be affected by the application is attached.
The hearing is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to
attend.
