Legal Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on May 28, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town of
Lamartine Town Hall, N5269 Schaefer Drive, Oakfield, Wisconsin, the Town Board will
be conducting a hearing on the proposed discontinuance of Marggi Road in response to a
petition filed pursuant to Wis. Stat. §82.10(1). The road proposed to be discontinued is
more particularly described as follows:
A 66 foot wide road right-of-way located in the Southeast ¼ of the
Southeast ¼ of Section 4 and the Northeast ¼ of the Northeast ¼ of Section
9, T.15N.-R.16E., Town of Lamartine, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin,
lying 33 feet on each side of the following described centerline:
Commencing at the North ¼ corner of said Section 9; thence South 89º-20’-
23” East along the North line of the Northeast ¼ of said Section 9, 1024.82
feet to the centerline of Priepke Road; thence South 79º-44’-24” East along
the centerline of Priepke Road, 967.64 feet; thence North 03º-30’-24” East
to the Northerly right-of-way line of Priepke Road and to the point of
beginning of the centerline of Marggi Road to be discontinued; thence
continuing North 03º-30’-24” East along said centerline, 494.77 feet to the
end of said centerline.
A scale map of the land that would be affected by the application is attached.
The hearing is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to
attend.
